Jimmy-Kannu. It has not been a long time they decided to
come into Music Direction. Once they were sure enough to
do it they started building their own studio before five
years and got it ready on 14th of November 2004.
After immense hard work and dedication towards their
jobs they have come a long way and brought a good name
to them so far. They both are recognized well in the
music industry. What is different about them is that
they do not try to make different music and do not try
to be different from other composers or producers, they
follow the requirement of the Lyrics & Composition,
which is what makes them different itself. "Following a
particular style makes us feel alienated", they say.
Jimmy, an expert Sound Engineer, Mixing Engineer &
Mastering Engineer, has huge amount of tactics to
accomplish his job and holds great pair of "Ears" and
tremendous music sense which makes him a real studio
professional engineer. "Breaking Rules Makes Great
Recordings" is his mantra he works with.
Kannu, a hardcore guitarist & musician, speaks less
with his mouth more with his guitar. He has an ability
to take you somewhere far from this world just by
holding his guitar. He strums the guitar like anything
as he is gossiping with his friend in his native
language. He has the ability to play any form of music
and genre on guitar. He can play most of the string
instruments available. Even millions of words are less
for a musician like him who sleeps with his guitar
everyday.
Jimmy & Kannu work in their own studio named "Musiqa
Digital Workstations" situated at C-1, Park Lane, Beauty
Avenue, Amritsar.
They have got their albums released on banners like
Times Music, HMV Sa Re Ga Ma, T-Series and many other
renowned music companies. Finished off with more than
eighteen music albums and three movies so far, they are
working on several music albums which are currently
under production.
The combo, one with an exceptional technical
capabilities and music sense & other with a great
command over string instruments are set to give the
listeners something new to listen and they are sure to
make a mark in music the generations will remember.
